Rows of Pillars

Carrie O'Brien

Carrie helps people who have been injured and is a spirited advocate inside and outside of the courtroom. She has successfully tried more than 150 cases to verdict in state and federal court in both, South Carolina and North Carolina.

​

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Carrie received a Bachelor of Science degree from College of Charleston where she graduated with honors. Carrie then attended University of South Carolina School of Law where she successfully competed nationally on the Mock Trial Competition team.

Following law school, Carrie had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable R. Markley Dennis, Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina. She then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she has spent the majority of her career representing insurance companies in South Carolina and North Carolina.

 

Carrie has the unique experience of being trained by and understanding insurance companies—the same companies she now chooses to litigate against.

Carrie enjoys sports, cooking, anything involving the sun, and traveling. She lives with her two favorite people, who also happen to be her children, and their King Charles Cavalier.
